ITINERARY

ITINERARY 5 DAYS AND 4 NIGHTS ADVENTURE

 

DAY 1

After your check in between approximately 13.00 and 14.00 pm you have a tasty lunch waiting for you. Afterwards it is time for a jungle hike accompanied by a knowledgeable native guide. Part of this excursion is also that you can fly like Tarzan though the jungle. Later we will go even further in the jungle to observe some special birds like the famous Cacique, toucans and the enormous Ceibo Tree.

We conclude this adventure with tubing and a refreshing swim in the river.

 

DAY 2

After breakfast you take a walk to the Sumaco Biosphere Reserve. The hike will take you through the canyon and to the waterfall where you have to cross the river with ropes or just by walking. On your way you can see beautiful landscapes and natural pools where you can make some jumps. You continue your hike by stairs and walking under amazing rocks. You will have your lunch upon arrival at the waterfall. After this stop you go to the top of the canyon so you can fly like Tarzan nearby the Giant Ceibo Tree.

Later we will start a new adventure on top of mountain bikes for your jungle bike tour.

 

DAY 3

After breakfast we will do a trekking for 20 minutes until reaching the Napo River Port. Here we will board a canoe to travel for one hour and a half on the Napo River. You will enjoy watching some beautiful bird species. During this tour your Local Guide will explain you about the secrets of the plants that are used as medicine here.

In the end we will continue by canoe towards the AmaZOOnico Refugee of Wild Life. This Refugee was founded to protect animals from any kind of abuse and danger. You have the great opportunity to observe animals that are difficult to see in another way.

Later we will visit the Kichwa Handicrafts and Pottery Center where we have the chance to witness how the Kichwa women make their extraordinary pottery and handicrafts.

 

DAY 4

After breakfast, you will catch your adventurous spirit! Tree climbing is a sport that is all about  ascending and descending from the Amazon trees canopy , you will be exactly on the top of the Amazon Jungle. You can count on our experience at this sport , we have safe equipment and professional guides. You will be able to walk on the top of the huge trees watching the fauna and flora of the zone, after this we will go to the Lodge to have a delicious lunch.

 

DAY 5

After breakfast you have the great opportunity to learn how to make chocolate. You will only use products from the jungle. Unfortunately this will be the end of your rainforest trip.
